Calico Joe - John Grisham

A large portion of this slim novel is spent with unpleasant characters.A father, a fan, a brother a man. The story is much more about a father-son relationship, and how the father (not a good guy) scarred his son.Centered around a baseball player who had it all before him but for whom it all came crashing down, this story should appeal to sports and literature lovers alike.
